Birthday Balloons

Today I'm sharing a card that was made to two challenges:

Seize the Birthday (birthday themed & use items starting with your initials)

Tuesday Morning Sketches - Sketch #695

Here's my card for the challenges:

The card design was based on the Tuesday Morning sketch, and I used items from my initials BB (blue and balloons).  The stamped image and sentiment are from Reverse Confetti and the cloud stencil used on the background is from My Favorite Things.  It's about time to start working for the upcoming Cards for Cubs drive, so this will be a good birthday card for that project.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #527

Here is sketch #527 from Tuesday Morning Sketches:

Here's my card from the sketch:

This was the perfect sketch to use the Holiday Seals set from The Stamping Village.  I stamped the image with Lobster ink from Lawn Fawn, then overstamped with embossing ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  Love adding another Christmas card to my stash!

Tuesday Morning Sketch #514

Here is the new sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches:

Here's my card from the sketch.  I used a frame stamp from Close to My Heart, and an Ariel stamp that's been in my stash for a loooong time.

I did some ink blending on the background, then added some clear glitter around the edges.
This one is for my youngest granddaughter, who loves Ariel.

Sweet hearts card

I made this card for one of the StampNation Birthday Bash challenges (make a card for someone you love) and also for the current challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Here is the sketch from Tuesday Morning:

And here's my card from the sketch.   The stamps are from Recollections (Michael's) and the inks are from Catherine Pooler.   I added a little Wink of Stella clear marker to the hearts.

Welcome baby cards - Tuesday Morning sketches

I just discovered Tuesday Morning sketches, where a new card sketch is posted every Tuesday.  I needed a card to welcome a new baby boy, so I used this week's sketch, some Echo Park papers, and my Cricut and ended up making two cards.  (The Cricut cuts I used had positive and negative images, so I made two cards to use up all the cuts.)

The little giraffe is from the Cricut Sugar and Spice cartridge, and the sentiment stamp is from Technique Tuesday.  I think those little giraffes are just too cute!
